PES 2016 to Get Free UEFA 2016 Data Pack DLC Update

Since its release in September it is fair to say that PES 2016 and its players have had a hard time. If as a fan you’ve stuck by the football game though it looks like Konami are going to give you a reward.

Announced today on the Konami Blog, the UEFA Euro 2016 will be coming to the game in the form of a free Data Pack. Before this is released though, players can also expect the second official Data Pack to be released in December. This will include the Maracana Stadium, national team kits, updated player faces, updates rosters and more.

Erik Bladinieres, Football & Alliances Director commented on the Data Pack releases:

“it has been a difficult few months for the fans in how we have been delivering content in our recent Data Packs, with some items missing that our consumers expected. The PES Production team appreciate their fans’ support and want to reward their support and bring back confidence in the Data Pack releases. With this announcement, we hope we can regain their trust. The next Data Pack is scheduled for early December, including the Maracana stadium, more faces, new national team kits, club teams and the player roster which was confirmed on October 19th. We strive to keep delivering quality content to our fans, for free. The content of the UEFA EURO 2016 content has yet to be defined, but all content delivered by Data Pack featuring EURO for next year’s prestigious tournament will be free to all existing users.”

So as revealed in the statement above, we don’t actually know what will be coming in the Euro 2016 update yet, but we can expect fixture and tournament updates at the very least, with any required kit updates for the game.
