Did you stumble upon issues while trying to load the Darth Vader Minigame in Star Wars Battlefront? Or were you even more unlucky that you couldn’t even get the installation from the disc?
In both the cases, we are sure EA will release an official fix but until then, there might be a way around. A Reddit user says that the problem lies in the beta files (even if you have uninstalled the beta client) and that there is a way you can use to fix the issues on PS4.
The guy in question has shared a process through which he claims that both the bugs can be fixed. It is for physical copies only though, but anyhow, here are the steps that you should try out.
- Delete Battlefront AND Battlefront Beta from System Storage-Application Storage.
- Delete Battlefront AND Battlefront Save data from Save Data Storage.
- Restart the system
- Insert the disc and wait for the update to download.
- Start the game and play the Vader minigame as normal. It will finish in approximately 15 minutes and ask you to press Options to load the main game.
While we have seen at least one user suggesting that this did not work for them, we think that it is a hit and trial process that might work for others since the Redditor himself says that he “found a solution and verified it on a second system with the same issue.”
Did you get rid of the Darth Vader Minigame bug or the disc installation bug in Star Wars battlefront using this process? Let us know if it worked for you!
