Good news, Microsoft is working on a few extra things with a new Xbox One update that the NXOE update seemingly missed out on.
Microsoft has also detailed how you can get your hands on the update if you are a member of the preview program. They say that “if your console is in Instant-On mode and you have been selected, it will download and install the update and reboot to standby.”
However, you can also manually download it once the new Xbox One update becomes available in you region by going to “Settings > System and selecting System Update,” but that is in case you don’t get it automatically. Last but not the least, an every preview program member will get an automatic prompt at a later date:
If your console hasn’t downloaded and installed the update by 1:00AM PT 11/19/2015, you will be prompted to do so at that time.
Here’s everything shared on the preview program members section of the official Xbox forums:
- OS version released: th2_xb_rel_1510.151116-1758
- Available: 6:00PM PST 11/17 (2AM GMT 18/7)
- Dial fix: This update contains a fix for DIAL (Discovery and Launch protocol) scenarios.
- Voice recognition: This update contains improvements for voice command issues that were reported by the community.
