With any new releases hot fixes are required to patch up some issues with the game. Today Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has received another update to fix a few issues with the game.
Revealed by David Vonderhaar studio design director at Treyarch on Twitter update 33.25.23.* arrived to the game today:
33.25.23.* FFA spawn updates with > 8 players. Fixed stat loss for join in progress FFA/GG games. Lots of script runtime errors. +more
— David Vonderhaar (@DavidVonderhaar) November 17, 2015
He also revealed that this will probably be the last hotfix before the first real patch is released for the game. The new patch includes:
- Updates to the spawn in Free For All matches when there are more than 8 players in the game
- A Stat loss issue when joining a game of Free For All or Gun Game which is in progress has been fixed.
- Runtime Errors in the game have also been fixed
- More issues have also been fixed, though they were not listed in the tweet.
Hopefully these updates will improve the experience for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players, I’m sure they’ll notice the updates, especially the stats fix. While it’s not a major patch these issues will still be noticeable by players so it’s obviously a good thing that they have been dealt with.
It will be interesting to see when the first major patch will be released, and what it will include. With the PC version of the game having issues on release I’m sure players on that platform will be looking for improvements in performance.
