Fallout 4 Plays Superb on PS Vita Remote Play Thanks to Unique Control Scheme

There’s a good news for PlayStation 4 users who want to remain in the Fallout 4 wastelands, even when they’re away from their consoles.

Bethesda’s latest title now plays on a PlayStation Vita Remote Play, and even better news is that the game’s Vita controls are one of the system’s best.

Remote Play is a little used feature that allows players to stream a game from their PS4 to a Vita using their home’s Wi-Fi connection.

However, the games that are compatible with it often don’t work right as the handheld lacks a number of buttons featured on the PS4’s controller. But thanks to developer Josh Hamrick, Fallout 4 looks and plays fantastic on the handheld format.

Bethesda hired Hamrick earlier this year, specifically because of his great work of configuring the Vita controls for the sci-fi shooter Destiny.

At the time, Hamrick said he was working around the clock to make the functionality dazzle in Fallout 4, and now it seems that his hard work is finally paying off.

Fallout 4 has its own control scheme on the Vita which greatly ameliorates its playability on the handheld. Check out the embedded video and let us know what you think of it in the comments!
