Regular updates to a platform are necessary to stay updated on the new issues, bugs and threats that it might face, and Sony Computer Entertainment knows that pretty well. A new PlayStation 4 System Software Update has been released today.
The PlayStation 4 system software update 3.11 is the latest in the list of patches that have been released to the latest console of Sony, but unlike many other updates, it does not bring you a slew of changes and additional features.
According to the patch notes shared online, Sony has somehow followed in line with Nintendo and simply provided a one-liner in the place of patch notes. Sony says that with the update 3.11, “system software stability during use of some features has been improved.”
That is all the have revealed. It was not clarified which features have been tweaked or how major the tweaks were.
Moving on, when you download the PlayStation 4 system software update 3.11 it will take about 238.8 MB of free space on your hard disk. Although it is not much, just make sure your storage is not fully stuffed before you install it.
Last but not the least, don’t lose hope in these updates as we are sure Sony is planning something interesting for you, thanks to a survey that was held recently.
