Given that today is N7 day, the annual celebration of Bioware’s famous Mass Effect franchise, it is only natural that some new information or teaser about the next installment of the franchise, Mass Effect Andromeda would be making its way to fans, whether officially or through a leak.
The teaser video doesn’t actually show anything related to the game and seems like any other video that would involve humanity’s journey through space but what is really interesting about it is the person narrating it.
From the looks of it, Jennifer Hale who voiced the female version of Commander Shepard in the original Mass Effect trilogy will once again be lending her voice to the game.
However, that isn’t the only surprising new development because it looks like Commander Shepard might actually be returning in some capacity for this game even though Shepard was thought to be dead or a synthetic (depending on the ending you chose for Mass Effect 3) and the new game was supposed to have a new protagonist, something that even Bioware emphasized upon many times.
Mass Effect Andromeda is expected to release in the final quarter of 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
