World of Warcraft Legion was originally announced at Gamescom 2015 by Blizzard Entertainment but at that time (and until now) the official release date of the expansion was not known.
However, it appears that an expected release timing for Legion might have been leaked by the official Battle.net website.
An image was put up on the website by Blizzard relating to World of Warcraft Legion as well as other details about the expansion. While the developers have now removed the post in question, we can reiterate everything that got leaked.
Firstly, it has been revealed that the expansion is going to be out in the markets “on or before” September 21, 2016. Of course this is not an exact release date but it does suggest that September is the month we need to look out for.
Moreover, when it comes out the regular version is going to cost you $50 where as the Digital Deluxe edition will be priced at $70.
Two pre-purchase bonuses that came into the light were Level 100 Boost and a one week early access to the Demon Hunter class. However, creating a Demon Hunter will come with the condition that you should be at level 70.
Since Blizzard Entertainment has removed all the newly leaked details about the World of Warcraft Legion expansion from their website, we are expecting them to confirm all this at BlizzCon.
