Today has been crazy in terms of leaks and rumours around Overwatch, but at Blizzcon all was revealed. The game will be coming to consoles, is available for pre-order now and a collector’s edition has been confirmed.
While closed betas are still taking place, the rumours of the console version were running rampant leading to the confirmation that it would be coming to consoles. The release window as of right now is Spring 2016. All platforms will have to buy the game with these options available:
- Digital PC Edition $39.99 which will include all 21 heroes and provide the core Overwatch experience. This will include bonus Noire skin for Widowmaker if you pre-order.
- Overwatch: Origins Edition will be $59.99 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One which comes with hero skins for five character based on their past (Blackwatch Reyes (Reaper), Strike-Commander Morrison (Soldier: 76), Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, and Slipstream Tracer) as well as content for other Blizzard games. This includes Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft and Tracer hero for Heroes of the Storm.
- Overwatch: Collector’s Edition for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One which comes with all content for the Origins Edition plus art book, soundtrack, and collectable statue of Soldier: 76 the alter ego of Jack Morrison.

For those at Blizzcon or who have a virtual ticket there will no doubt be much more revealed about Overwatch over the weekend.
