This might come as a shock to you but Naughty Dog developers really don’t have any idea what they are going to do about the Uncharted 4 Single Player DLC… yet.
Or at least Arne Meyer, the director of communications for the studio, thinks so; and since he is a key player in the development studio we think he can represent them in the matter.
Anyhow, Meyer has recently revealed that the team is so busy making the base game that they haven’t planned out the DLC yet:
[About a month ago Neil Druckmann told him], ‘I have no idea what we’re going to do with that.’ We’re so busy on the actual game and I was talking to him and saying that we’re taking a big risk here because we have no idea what we’re going to do yet.
However, Meyer did add that they have “committed to putting something together and it has to be a high level of quality and have a really engaging story,” because Uncharted 4 is going to be the last chapter in story.
Interestingly “Neil hasn’t even begun to think about what the storyline for the single-player DLC is,” which suggests that actually making them is pretty far.
Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End releases in March 2016.
