Ubisoft recently shared their financial results for the last quarter and with that, they also commented on two of their biggest titles at the moment i.e. Far Cry Primal and Tom Clancy’s The Division.
We are still far from release on both of these, but it looks like the chief executive officer of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot is content with how things are right now.
While commenting on Far Cry Primal he revealed that the announcement trailer of the game has been watched 16 million times in the first 10 days which makes it the second most popular trailer by Ubisoft ever.
He said that the “overwhelmingly positive” response from the fans allows them to project sales that would at least be 60 percent greater than Far Cry 4!
Lastly, he reassured the fans that development on Far Cry Primal was going well and they that they are churning out a “very beautiful game with deep gameplay.”
Moving on too The Division, Guillemot boasted that the title has won over 100 awards and nominations even before the release which adds to the “solid confidence” that retailers are showing in the game’s expected sales.
An example of that is how The Division has managed to be featured on the “GameStop purchase intent chart” regularly every month.
He did not go into detail about the game’s development state though.
