Star Wars Battlefront beta was a huge success and people are now predicting that the game may sell over 13 million copies within the first 12 months.
The game will release in a short time and one wonders what changes and improvements developers would have time to make. Well, as it turns out they already have. The beta build was old and some improvements have been made already. Developers tested the final build and tried put as much as they can into the beta build beta from it.
When asked about “spawn problems, balancing issues and lack of communication between team mates on Hoth that are very apparent now to the general public,” DICE replied:
But without going into too much detail, the Beta was a much older build of the game. That being said, all of the items you point out have been touched in some way or another.
Overall the team did try to carry over as much as we could from the close to final build to put into the Beta, but the goal of the beta was to test the technical aspects of the game. Look for the Beta and Feedback update via a Community Update shortly.
More details will arrive next week. Star Wars Battlefront will release on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can read the full Q&A here.
