In the latest Friday stream for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 the new Nuk3town Bonus Map trailer was revealed. Featuring gameplay showing off new gameplay elements for the battles that will take place, the map looks like a good incentive to pre-order.
Here is the official description of the map:
“Set in 2065, this fan favorite map from Black Ops has returned in a big way. Nuk3town has been re-designed from the ground up to highlight Treyarch’s new momentum-based, chained-movement system, allowing players to battle in this adrenaline-charged multiplayer map. Players will experience a new take on this classic run-and-gun, close-quarters map. Escape a harsh reality and enjoy this virtual neighborhood of the future.”
As mentioned this is a bonus map that will be included for gamers who pre-order the game. It won’t be available to PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 players though, which will obviously be another disappointment for previous generation console owners.
On the stream the map was discussed, especially how it was designed to improve battles. This includes little changes such as changing the buildings to stop players “camping” in these areas. The map has also been updated to add areas for new features such as wall running.
With some reports that the game has also started pre-loading for PlayStation 4 the anticipation for fans will be reaching a high now with the release only days away. Downloads right now appear to be around 12GB, but expect 45GB to be the size of the game as a whole. Xbox one users apparently started pre-loading earlier in the month.
