Based on leaked images that appear to have been sourced from early copies of Black Ops 3, we have some details of the Free Run Mode. On the launch of the game there will be four courses for the mode.
CharlieIntel are reporting that the Free Run Mode courses included on release will be:
The player will also be able to set the difficulty for the course as they try the maps. Free Run Mode is the Parkour style mode that has been added in the game, and was revealed in the BO3Fridays live stream a few weeks ago. While not many details were revealed on the actual stream it looks like some are starting to leak.
With the parkour elements there will obviously be comparisons made to Titanfall and the playstyle that it introduced. This should be of little concern to players really, with the focus on just having fun.
The Free Run Mode will be available straight away on the game, as will most of the content for the game. It will be interesting to see if anymore courses are added to the game with the release of DLC.
With Multiplayer, Campaign, Zombies, and now additional modes like Free Run, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is growing to be quite a big game. With each mode growing like this, it will be interesting to see if more complicated modes such as Zombies will be pulled away to be separate releases. Just how big can Call of Duty be before it starts to feel a little cluttered?
