With the reveal of Uncharted 4 multiplayer mode, a number of other questions have arisen. For instance, some people are asking about the possibility of a co-op mode while others are inquiring about the mature of microtransactions in the game.
The latter was discussed by Robert Cogburn, the Lead Multiplayer Designer for the game while attending a question and answer session at the recently held Paris Games Week.
While he did not indulge in shared intricate details, Cogburn did confirm two things. Firstly, microtransactions will be live as soon as Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End gets launched, and secondly, that the developers have not put gameplay items behind a microtransaction wall.
Both of these confirmations will make the fans happy.
Microtransactions will be available at launch, but we’ll have no gameplay items that will be gated through microtransactions.
Of course there is a lot more that Naughty Dog should talk about with regards to the in-game purchases, but it is also a fact that there are a few months in the game’s release which means eventually we will have all those details with us.
Naughty Dog has also not denied the possibility of a co-op mode in the game; it will be an amazing development if that gets confirmed for Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End.
