PlayStation VR’s Beauty is that PS4 will Run It: Sony

Sony says that the beauty of PlayStation VR is also that it has PS4 to power it; and that they are positive about being number one in the field.

Okay so we know that PlayStation VR is going to be one of the key players in the virtual reality gaming market. However, Sony Computer Entertainment has some more reasons to claim why that is so.

The SCE Worldwide Studios vice president, Michael Denny, was recently discussing the head-mounted device where he discussed how being powered by something like the PS4 is going to give it an edge:

I think that the beauty of PSVR is that we have the PS4 to power it, we have tried and tested input devices and controllers that work fantastically well. I think the experiences we’re showing off are a testament to that. At the moment we’re really pleased with the ecosystem we have for VR.

Discussing the prolonged wait for the official pricing and proper release dates for the PlayStation VR, Denny said it was because Sony is aiming to “get it right and deliver the best experience.”

On the possibility that the device might rank number one among all that are being released, he said that he agrees because he is “yet to see someone take the headset off and not have a big reaction to it, a good reaction.”

That is all but we will be updating you on the price and release date of the PlayStation VR as soon as something comes up. Check back for that later.
