The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is getting ever closer and this means one thing, more and more leaks are appearing all over the internet. One of them appears to be a multiplayer map based in a World War 2 setting.
CharlieIntel have revealed the few details that are available about the map, though an image that they appeared to have posted had to be taken down at the request of Activision. This pretty much helps to confirm that the leak is based on a map coming to the game then. The site decribes it as a:
“warped simulation of a World War 2 historical battle set in a quaint french village.”
What exactly is a warped simulation? For the answer to that we’ll probably have to wait until Activision are ready to reveal the details about the map and its World War 2 setting. As expected there are plenty of thoughts on what the map could be, especially in the comments section of the CharlieIntel news item.
If this map is meant to be a surprise then it is no wonder that Activision have worked fast to get any actual screens removed off sites, the fact that brief details like seen above haven’t been removed shows that they also want to keep Call of Duty fans guessing. It all adds to the hype of the release and gets people eager to spend their money to buy the game.
