The release of Fallout 4 is only weeks away and Bethesda continue to give us little hints at what is to come. In a new short but sweet video, we get to see the effect of having the Big Leagues perk.
In the short video you can see above our Vault hero is all dressed for baseball, but most important to the Big Leagues perk is the melee weapon he is carrying. What the perk actually does is double the damage done with a melee weapon. This is given away by the description given to it:
“You now do doubler damage with a melee weapon, and gain a chance to cripple your opponent, or grand slam their heads clean off”
As you can see in the video the “grand slam” on the opponent’s heads is particularly impressive and bloody. Something that is reminiscent of the good old days of Fallout 4 and New Vegas where things got particularly gory if you wanted them to.
With no footage shown at Sony’s Paris Game Show Press Briefing there is still a shroud of secrecy over what we can expect in the game. While this is a good thing in terms of enjoying the game without too many spoilers, for some people it would be good to at least see something. Bethesda are keeping things under wraps though until the big release.
With the news that preloading will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, Bethesda appear to be doing everything right to keep the fans happy, now to see if the game itself delivers.
