How to complete London Stories: Charles Dickens Memories in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.
London Stories are basically memories acquired through different historical characters met during the Main Story such as Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, and more.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate London Stories: Charles Dickens Memories
Most of these stories unlock after you have completed the previous London Story. This guide provides an overview of London Stories: Charles Dickens Memories which is unlocked after complete Sequence 3.
Location: Public House Pub, Lambeth
After meeting with Charles Dickens inside the pub, he will grant you a mission whom you need to accept in order to progress through the memory.
Locating the Victim
Come out of the pub and head over to a small yard to find the victim and speak with her.
Locating and Protect the Second Victim
After speaking with the first victim, you need to rush towards the second and try and Air Assassinate Spring-Heeled Jack which he will escape.
Following the Tracks
Observe the footprints using your Eagle Vision in the nearby alley and then on the side of a building which you should be able to scale using your rope launcher. The tracks will come to an end near a couple of houses and a yard.
Use your rope launcher to get on the rooftop with a Templar and assassinate him.
Keep on following the footprints on the rooftops and continue ahead using your zip line to the Cultists’ (Blighters’) House.
Finding the Secret Entrance
Before finding the entrance, you can complete the Cultist challenge and use some dynamites on the north side of the rooftop to kill some cultists. Once this is done, drop down into the well located on the east side of the house and defeat a couple of guards below.
Location: Callant Commodore, the Strand
Finding the Policeman
You need to head inside the police station using the open window on the rooftop and speak with the officer standing near the prisoner and listen to the entire thing.
Finding the Pawn Owner
Exit the police station and head to the Pawn Shop nearby and speak with the owner of the shop. While talking to the owner, you need to catch the running lady and speak with her.
Finding the Last Buyer
Find a carriage and head to the southwest edge of the area to find the last buyer highlighted in golden color. In order to complete the challenge, you need to ensure that you don’t get spotted while tailing the buyer.
Your target will lead you to a park where he will meet a mysterious man. You need to watch the proceedings then speak to the mysterious man yourself after which you will wake up in Scotland Yard.
Location: Lord Nelson Pub, the Strand
Looting 3 Rich Persons
For this task, you need to steal from three rich persons without drawing any unwanted attention from the nearby police officers. You can avoid drawing attention by not causing the persons any harm which should make the mission relatively easier.
Finding the Getting the Hypnotist Arrested
After looting, you need to head over to the back yard on the east side of the area and find the hypnotist. After the events, you need to head back to the pub and try and locate the mysterious man.
The easiest way to kidnap the man is to use a rooftop and drop a Smoke Bomb before jumping down to kidnap the man. Do note that if you are spotted, you will have to start from the street again.
While you are on your way of taking the man to the police station, you need to ensure that the Templars nearby don’t see you or you will have to start all over again. With the man in police’s custody, the memory will complete.
Location: Public House Pub, the Strand
Get to the Haunted House
The first thing that you need to do is to follow Charles Dickens and head inside the Haunted House located near the north of the Royal Society Buildings.
Investigating the House
Once you head inside the house, you need to head to the second floor and locate a piano there and a rocking crib on the third floor. After this is done, you need to come back to follow the little girl and inspect the piano again.
After this is done, you will come across a little boy whom you will have to chase outside the house. Do not be confused with 3 boys running around; you simply need to chase down anyone of them and tackle them.
Getting Back to the House
Find Dickens on the third floor of the Haunted House and speak with him. After speaking with him, you need to use a Secret Key at your disposal to find a secret entrance right below a painting of a lakeside.
After using the key, you need to activate both the levers and rush to the fourth floor. Once you get there, kill the madman there and speak with Dickens to complete the memory.
Location: Junkyard, Whitechapel
Finding Four Clues in the Junkyard
In order to start, you need to examine the letters on the ground where you meet Dickens to start investigating. After this, head near the carriage and examine the mattress and the mail carriage. After a short while, you will be able to find the fourth clue which is a love letter laying near the carts.
Hijacking the Carriage
In order to complete the challenge here, you will be required the hijack the carriage in less than two minutes. In order to hijack the carriage, you need to get behind the kidnapper’s carriage and stand on top of it followed by throwing him out of the carriage.
Defending the Carriage
One of the easiest ways to defend the carriage is to get out of the driver’s seat, stay close to the carriage and kill all the enemies followed by getting back inside and heading towards Elizabeth’s house. Once you get to the house in Lambeth. Once you get there, you need to speak with Elizabeth to complete the memory.
Location: Near Lambeth Asylum, Lambeth
Follow Dickens and Kill Jack
As soon as you gain control of your character, you need to follow Dickens and run after Jack who will escape using a Smoke Bomb after which your primary objective will change.
You need to head to the nearest rooftop in order to locate Jack where a new challenge will kick in. In order to complete the challenge, you need to follow Jack without touching the ground.
Just remember that you will not be able to catch Jack unless he has reached his pre-determined position so just focus on dodging the bullets and not hitting the ground.
Another thing to note here is that the elevated train tracks are not considered ground so stepping on them should not ruin your challenge progress. Continue chasing after him and after a short while he will split into three clones all of which you will have to defeat in order to complete the memory.
