Blizzcon 2015 is almost here, and is sold out meaning the only way to experience it now will be to buy one of the virtual tickets still available. For those at the actually at the even or visiting “virtually”, they will be able to see Linkin Park perform live.
The celebration of everything Bizzard, Blizzcon is as popular as ever. This is evident with the fact that the show has sold out, and people are willing to pay $39.99 for a virtual ticket for the event. While Linkin Park may not be the biggest band, they are still known enough to be seen as a big enough name to perform at the event which will be hosted by Wil Wheaton this year.
On having Linkin Park perform at Blizzcon, Mike Morhaime, the CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment said:
“We’re beyond excited to welcome SoCal natives Linkin Park to close out BlizzCon with a bang on Saturday night, we can’t think of a better way to bring two full days of gaming and action-packed eSports matches to an epic conclusion than with a band that’ll carry the weekend’s electricity through to the very end.”
The lead vocalist of the band, Chester Bennington also had this to say:
“Playing BlizzCon will be one hell of a first for us, we’re looking forward to giving all the gamers out there a killer rock show.”
As well as seeing Linkin Parks and celebrities such as Wil Wheaton I’m sure gamers will hope for some interesting reveals for their favourite Blizzard games, as well as some news on the movie that is also coming our way soon.
