Footage from the full version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is starting to be posted online. Allowing gamers to see the game in action it should allow them to see how well the game runs on consoles.
In the video we are showing here, the footage is being captured on PlayStation 4. As you can see the frame rate is pretty stable but there are a few moments that it does seem to struggle. This is something we often see in many games though, so unless the frame rate dips are more extreme there shouldn’t really be a problem.
Looking past the technical side with this being 60 minutes’ worth of footage and missions being played there will obviously be spoilers so don’t venture too deeply into the video unless you are willing to see some plot points being given away. With this only being an hour though there won’t be too much to spoil really.
In terms of gameplay we see two twins, Evie and Jacob Frye in action and we are able to see the two different styles that the character’s employ. If you are looking to see how Syndicate differs from Unity watching videos like this is a good start. Obviously when the game is released and you get to play it yourself, that will be the best way to tell.
With the game releasing October 23, we are now just days away from the release on Xbox One and Playstation 4. PC owners will have a little longer to wait, and I’m sure they can put up with that as long as Ubisoft don’t make a mess of it like they did with Unity.
