We are just about 10 days away from the release date of Halo 5 Guardians, and it has been conveyed that the game will have plenty of maps for the players to try out.
However, it appears that out of the ten arena made maps that the game is going to get, only six are going to be playable in the Team Slayer playlist.
The ten arena made maps that Halo 5 Guardians is promised to be launched with are Pegasus, Orion, Truth, Regret, Empire, Eden, Fathom, Plaza, The Rig and Coliseum.
The division of maps between different playlists has been criticized by a number of fans. One map that has primarily been criticized for not being made available in Team Slayer is Empire which is only present in Team Arena.
Team Slayer is Halo 5 Guardians’ 4v4 mode which is expected to deliver the core experience of the franchise and it would have made more sense that the mode had the greatest number of playable maps.
Fans of Halo 5 Guardians are expecting that 343 Industries will change how playlists are being managed for the different modes of the game and that the setup we currently know of will be only temporary.
Halo 5 Guardians is going to be released on October 27, 2015.
