Techland have revealed the release date window for Dying Light: The Following. It looks like we’ll still have a bit of time to wait until the big update comes to the game.
In the trailer you can see above which features a brief glimpse at some gameplay the most important news comes at the end of the video when it states “Coming Q1 2016”. While we now know a date the fact that we could be waiting anywhere up to the end of March (or longer) will still cause an issue for some.
When The Following is finally released we won’t only be getting a new countryside area of the map, but also a customisable dirt buggy available in the game. These will compliment the new story and the other surprises that will be coming when the DLC is finally released. Talking to GearNuke the producer of the game, Tymon Smektala said:
“So, since Gamescom 2015, we revealed quite a bit about our upcoming expansion: the vast countryside map, the customizable dirt buggy, a new story and more. What we couldn’t say before though, was the release date. Today we finally know that Dying Light: The Following will launch within the first three months of 2016. This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys. So keep your eyes peeled for some sneak peeks into what we have in the works for you all. And we promise to share the exact day of release as soon as we get a final decision.”
Now we have at least a release window as to when the game will be released.
