Video game Journalism is in no way an easy job to do. Mistakes are bound to happen when you are supposed to meet strict deadlines, break stories, and especially cover live events.
I have my fair share of blunders and have come across many, but the one recently made by an international gaming website has to be one of the most unusual I have ever come across!
Last month, a writer from a renowned video game publication visited TGS 2015 and published a preview of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – calling it ‘too formulaic’. However, it later turned out that the game which previewed was actually Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and not Uncharted 4.
Acknowledging that they messed up, the website’s editor took down the article and issued a public apology, but that did not stop Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann from joining in the bandwagon and have a little laugh – here is what Druckmann shared on his official Twitter feed:

To err is human, but there is no arguing that the whole incident may affect the credibility of the website in some capacity.
With all being said, I cannot wait for ‘Uncharted 4 – A Hideo Kojima Game’ on PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
