Curse Entertainment, best known for Curse Voice, a VOIP client and Curse Client, an addon and modification management tool, have released a new video on their YouTube channel, transforming EA’s upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront into a 16-bit game!
The video, which not only looks amazing but also extremely funny, showcases the survival mission on Tatooine currently available in the beta version of the game. The video also includes scenes from the previously released trailers for the game as well as the original classic Electronic Arts’ logo.
The YouTube channel for the company is usually filled with in-house videos regarding games such as Minecraft, WoW and League of Legends as well as coverage of various gaming conventions such as PAX and Gamescom so this is a nice refreshing change to see. Let’s hope there are many more 16 bit trailers in the work from Curse.
Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on November 17th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. An open beta for the game is currently underway on all platforms. Pre ordering the game will grant players one week early access to the first DLC of the game, Battle of Jakku.
