2K has released a new card game called NHL Supercard for both iOS and Android. It is similar to “WWE SuperCard,” so obviously it looks like 2K is aiming to build off its success with NHL Supercard.
According to Cat Daddy games, who are developing the project;
NHL SuperCard represents the next step in extending 2K’s portfolio of action-packed mobile entertainment experiences. Sports and collectible card game fans can now experience NHL action in a new way on their mobile devices, anywhere and at any time.
NHL Supercard will feature 450 cards including:
- Paul Coffey
- Doug Gilmour
- Brett Hull
- Cam Neely
- Jacques Plante
- Felix Potvin
- Luc Robitaille
- Jeremy Roenick
- Scott Stevens
- Zach Parise
Players will able to compete in quick matches and add players to their starting line-up. Meanwhile, there is a Season Mode that allows you to compete against other players in week long NHL season simulations. Rivals Clash Events on the other hand lets you “pick a side and join likeminded players to compete against rivals for rewards.”
You can download the game right now for Android or iOS devices.
