It has been a while since the Tekken 7 developers talked about the game; in fact the last time we shared something about it was back in August when a number of videos were shared featuring Shaheen, Lucky Chloe, Gigas and others.
However, so far it is just the Arcade players who have had the leisure of playing the game. Console versions of Tekken 7 are yet to get a release date, let alone a release itself.
On that front, we have a good news for you.
A Spanish website has claimed to have talked to a Bandai Namco Entertainment marketing manager for Spain named David Fraile. According to Mr. Fraile, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Tekken 7 can be expected to release sometime in 2016.
Apparently, he was attending the Madrid Games Week where the question was raised.
Nonetheless, that is a pretty big release window and the game could fall anywhere in the 12 months which is still not going to sit well with the eager fans.
It is also a fact proven by history that game developers and publishers from Europe usually end up throwing a casual statement about future release plans of games that might not actually be met.
Tekken 7 released to arcades on February 18, 2015.
