While neither Crystal Dynamics or Microsoft Studios have said anything about the Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass, Amazon walks a different walk.
The online retailing giant has listed the digital code of the game’s Season Pass for the Xbox One platform, inadvertently outing the existence of something like that.
According to the Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass listing, which you can check by visiting this link, the digital code is going to cost you 30 dollars, $29.99 to be exact.
While the developers have not added a lot of details to the listing, there is one line at the bottom that reads”the Season Pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider includes a range of content that will extend your single-player campaign, and also allow you to compete with friends.”
The first part was obvious, since the game does not come with a multiplayer component; however, the second part reveals that the teased feature that would allow “competing with friends” in the game will be a part of the game’s DLCs and not the original release.
Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass is listed for a November 10, 2015 release date i.e. the same day when the base game hits the racks for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC.
