Uncharted 4: Two Hours of Cutscenes, Will Break Some Records, Says Nolan North

Nathan Drake's voice actor, Nolan North reveals that Uncharted 4 has about two hours of cutscenes!

Nolan North, the famous voice actor we have all met at one place or another inside countless videogames is also known for voicing Nathan Drake, our protagonist for the Uncharted series. Uncharted 4 is no different, and so North sounds like the right guy to go to in order to get some more details.

That is exactly what happened when he was interviewed recently. He was asked about the quantity of work that he has done for the upcoming title in comparison to the previous games. Interestingly, he confirmed that this one’s bound to break some records.

Yes. I think this should break some records, we’ve captured quite a bit. I would be guessing at the amount of cinematics, but it’s well over two hours I think. Please don’t have that in headlines tomorrow [laughs].

So yea, Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End has about two hours of cutscenes in it! We know that the game is narrative heavy, but still, giving so much attention also speaks volumes of the size of the game itself.

He also mentioned that recording for Nathan Drake’s character is still in process and will be done by the end of this year.

That being said, Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End is slated for release on PlayStation 4 on March 18, 2016.
