Moving into October Xbox One gamers are going to be excited about some of the new exclusives heading their way. The biggest for October will arguably be Halo 5 Guardians.
With the build up to the release, it is time to catch the fans attention, and one of the ways to do this is to show some real gameplay. Through allowing some YouTube gamer channels to get some multiplayer time on the game, 343 Industries are giving us a taste of what to expect.
In a new video, we see the Warzone multiplayer mode. taking place on the Raid on Apex 7 map, it shows plenty of chaotic action. The Warzone mode is based on 24 characters either controlled by the gamers or AI battling it out to complete objectives given throughout the arena.
The idea of Warzone is to build a chaotic battle where the players are fighting to gain the biggest team score. Points can be racked up by kill counts, but also missions such as taking out AI bosses who may appear on the map at times. There will also be capture the flag elements at play as well as defendable landmarks. Just looking at the video you can see how chaotic the experience will be.
What is also noticeable is how the gameplay is comparable to Call of Duty and Destiny, which may or may not be a bad thing. These are popular gameplay styles so it makes sense that first-person shooters will start to use the same model, but hopefully in the end they all won’t end up in the same generic style.
What do you think of the new gameplay video? Do they make you look forward to playing the game? Let us know your thoughts below.
