Destiny: The Taken King is the best selling game for the week ended September 19 in UK. The release of The Taken King’s physical version did well on Sony PlayStation 4, as 54% of sales came from the platform.
Meanwhile, 34% sales came from Xbox One, 7% on Xbox 360 and only 2% on PS3. Since the release of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, The Taken King is the first Activision Blizzard game to reach the top spot.
Meanwhile, the second place went to Turn 10’s Forza MotorSport 6, that came out exclusively on Xbox One last week. Third and fourth spot was held by Pro Evolution Soccer 16 and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, respectively.

Destiny: The Taken King was released on September 15 and introduced new story and MP content to the base game. However, the release wasn’t as smooth as Bungie expected, due to complaint of players being locked out of vanilla content.
