Mirror's Edge Remastered

DICE is putting a lot of focus on Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst’s protagonist Faith who will undergo a lot of transformation throughout the course of the game.

According to DICE’s senior producer Sara Jansson, fans really liked Faith as a character after the first game, but there were a lot of unanswered questions such as her origin and many other things.

To her, Faith is ‘really cool’ character who was thrown into this little crime story and didn’t develop as a character in the original game. However, this is all going to change in the upcoming iteration.

In Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, Faith is going to get proper character development and will undergo transformation in the sense that she won’t be the same person towards the end of the game:

I think that after the first game people really liked Faith as a character, she’s really cool, but there were a lot of questions as well. Like, we don’t really know who she is. We didn’t really get to know a lot about her. This is a cool character, but then she’s thrown into this little crime story and it doesn’t really develop her character a lot. So we wanted to make sure in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst she’s got this proper character development. She won’t be the same person towards the end of the game as in the beginning. You will see her transformation.

There you have it! DICE is looking to clear up all those ambiguities that you may have about Faith and her story in the game.

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is scheduled to release on Feb. 25, 2016 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
