Some interesting new details have been shared for Bloodborne The Old Hunters by From Software; firstly, they have revealed that it is actually a mix between two DLC packs that were originally planned for release separately.
Masaaki Yamagiwa, the game producer also added that they have been working on the downloadable content ever since they were finished with the original game – that is how long it took them to give us The Old Hunters!
They have put great effort into making it, he says, and that they were sorry for the long wait. However, Bloodborne The Old Hunters is probably going to be the last expansion that you get; the developers are done with making more content for the game.
We were originally planning on doing two sets of DLC. It was decided that with one set, we’d be able to do more with it, and have more volume for players to play with. As of right now, we have no plans for any more DLC.
Talking of the content that is coming your way with Bloodborne The Old Hunters, Yamagiwa revealed that you are looking at three new areas to explore and about ten new weapons to use against the enemies.
Cumulatively, the entire DLC will take about eight hours to complete although this could vary depending on how quick or slow you want your pace to be.
Bloodborne The Old Hunters comes out on November 24 for $20.
