Bloodborne Receives the Year Division Excellence Award In Japan

Bloodborne has received the Year Division Excellence Award in Japan, according to a new announcement by From Software.

Bloodborne, a spectacular RPG released on PS4 earlier this year, has received the Year Division Excellence Award during the Games Awards 2015 in Japan.

The official Bloodborne Twitter account announced in Japan:

Bloodborne came from the developers of Dark Souls and blew us away with its amazing gameplay and Victorian inspired setting. From the start, Bloodborne was a strong contender for Game of the Year, so expect more awards to be handed over to From Software for Bloodborne.

In other Bloodborne news, it looks like the sequel may already be in development for PlayStation 4. From Software is yet to say anything but the official Facebook page confirmed the title to be under development. Still, we have no way to confirm this as the post was deleted.

If From Software wants another game then it is a good chance it’s indeed in early stages of development at this point. However, it will take a while for them to reveal Bloodborne 2.

But if you wish to play more of Bloodborne, there is a new DLC coming up called The Old Hunters. The expansion will release on November 24, according to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

It was also mentioned that a retail version will release in December, but it’s for Japan only. The retail version of it will feature the base-game in addition to The Old Hunters.
