With Forza Motorsport 6 released in North America and coming to Europe September 18, Microsoft are in celebratory mood. Today they revealed a just how many people have played Forza in its different forms on Xbox One.
In an update designed to entice players to make the jump to Forza Motorsport 6, Microsoft have revealed that over seven million unique players have played either Motorsport 5 and Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One.
This is impressive for the Xbox One’s exclusive franchises. It would also be interesting to know which sold the best, Forza Horizon or the Motorsport games.
With the release of Forza Motorsport 6, the game is being hyped as the biggest Forza created. It will include 460 cars, 26 locations, and 24-car multiplayer races. For those who are moving from previous games to the latest game a few rewards will also be available.
When you first load up Forza Motorsport 6 you’ll receive at least one free car. The update also states that more experienced players will receive up to 8 cars in their garage. This will include the Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 458 Italia GTLM.
On top of all of this, if you’ve also played the demo for the game you’ll receive the cover car, the all-new 2017 Forza GT at no extra cost.
While all these details may be confusing, I’m sure they’ll all make sense once the game is loaded. That is when the important thing can take play, and that is actually playing the game.
