Official CDPR Update:
CD Projekt Red’s Community Manager Marcin Momot and CEO Marcin Iwinski have denied the rumor calling it referring to it as a ‘stupid internet rumour’. Phew!

According to a rumour surfacing out-of-nowhere; Electronic Arts representatives are visiting CD Projekt Red’s HQs for a potential deal – publishing or acquisition; that cannot be said.
DSOGaming was recently contacted by a CD Projekt Red employee who confided that EA representatives are currently meeting with top management at CD Projekt Red. According to the employee, the studio is not about to release any game in future – as it’s busy working on The Witcher III expansions – so it isn’t about a publishing deal:
I’m employee of CD Projekt Red and I have some bad news to share with you. Our management is probably talking with Electronic Arts about potential take over. Electronic Arts representatives are currently visiting our studio and meeting with top management. We are not going to release any game soon, so for sure it’s not about any publishing deal, so the only possible reason for EA guys being here is that they want to buy us.
The said employee also provided the said website with his salary slip in order to prove his identity – the payslip is attached below:
Like I’ve said earlier, this could be an acquisition deal or a publishing deal for all we know. However, I would like to ask you to take it with a grain of salt as neither of the companies has stated anything official.
Personally, I would hate it if it ever turned out to be true. I mean, EA + CDPR = NO-NO.
