We all know that Microsoft is paying great importance to the One Windows experience; however, when it comes to Xbox One, the Windows 10 on it is going to give gamers a highly customized experience that is going to be at least fifty percent faster for some of the features!
This was revealed by Mike Ybarra, the Director of Program Management for Xbox and Windows Platform while taking part in a podcast of Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live.
In a long list of details shared by the two, it was also revealed that the Windows 10 that has been made for Xbox One is a highly customized version of the original operating system called OneCore.
Ybarra boasts that this OS has been made specially to optimize the experience for those who use their gaming console.
The new experience is being regularly tested by Ybarra since four months and he says that they are maintaining spreadsheets for comparative data between Xbox 360, Xbox One and the new experience. Their findings reveal that the new system is going to be much more faster, fluid, responsive and suitable to get things running.
Last but not the least, Ybarra promised that although the initial intake for preview program members is going to be very less in number, Microsoft will be doing their best to make it “as big as they can.”
Here’s hoping the overall experience is much more friendlier than before.
