During a recent Ustream event; the CEO of Experience Inc., Hajime Chikami confirmed that two new Xbox One games are in development.
According to Chikami, since it’s hard to release Xbox One exclusives in Japan, the two games will be available worldwide digitally.
The first game is Stranger of Sword City which originally released for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation Vita in 2014. The Xbox One version of the game will boast completely revamped artstyle – you can see some of the changes in the screenshots provided below:
Chikami has also confirmed that players will have the freedom to opt the original artstyle if they choose to do so. The current-gen version of Stranger of Sword City is expected to release sometime between January and March 2016.
The second title is being developed under the working title of Students of Round 2 which is also going to a role-playing game with some final design decision being made at the moment.
According to Chikami, the studio is planning to make it something like Shining Force or Fire Emblem – a tactical role-playing game.
Students of Round 2 is scheduled to release sometime between April 2016 and March 2017; both the game are going to be Xbox One exclusives.
