Super Mario Maker Patch 1.0.1 Detailed, Removes Nine-Day Delivery System
Super Mario Maker is just hours away from release and will receive patch 1.0.1 upon arrival. Nintendo has detailed the new patch that brings new tools for level editor among other things.
- “Create a course” scene: a small element was added.
- Condition(s) for increasing the amount of useable parts (in the level editor) were added.
- Various changes meant to improve the gameplay experience.
Also, there is around a 15 minute timeframe before tool delivery. However, it seems the delivery time is a bit variable as some players reported 15-min, while others mentioned having to wait for a few hours.
Even so, the patch is removing the nine day delivery system previously mentioned by Nintendo; meaning users can now unlock new tools by playing the game for a few hours, rather than waiting for days to pass, which is acceptable.
Super Mario Maker will release shortly for Wii U. The game will mark the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., probably the most iconic Nintendo game to ever release.
Super Mario Bros. was the first game I ever played and to this day, I consider it the best title in terms of replayability, gameplay and awesome soundtracks.
