Good news for all the Pokemon fans! Pokemon Go, which has been making it to the news a lot in the past 24 hours has been confirmed for an early 2016 release by developer Niantic Inc.
Not only that, it has also been confirmed that a select number of fans are going to be able to enjoy a closed beta of the game as soon as winters this year.
The confirmation came out during Niantic’s latest Ingress Report video where they regularly provide updates on Ingress, the augmented-reality role-playing location-based massively-multiplayer online game that they made with Google.
Developers confirmed the Pokemon Go closed beta and release window before promising that they will be sharing more news on the matter in the coming week.
For those of you who do not know, Pokemon G is also an augmented reality game that is being developed for mobiles (both iOS and Android). Niantic boasts that in this one “you’ll discover Pokémon in a whole new world—your own!”
We have come a long way from playing Pokemon games based in regions that are inspired form real life locations; ow, you will actually be searching for Pokemon in the real world you live in.
So far, that is all we have to share about Pokemon Go, but keep checking back for more as we are expecting The Pokemon Company and Niantic Inc. to share details in the coming days.
