Konami recently posted something called Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection on Steam. Fans were excited and happy to see the arrival of previous MGS games on PC, as they have been requesting its release for a while.
However, their excitement was short lived as Konami was just trolling fans. As it turns out, it was actually a retrospective documentary “detailing the cultural legacy of the Metal Gear franchise as seen through the eyes of Metal Gear Solid V‘s main cast, game critics, journalists, and top-tier creators from both the game and film industries.
That isn’t the worst part, a user mentioned that it asked fans to redeem their copy of Metal Gear Solid Legacy after purchasing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
It seems Konami wanted to pull-off a Kojima but failed badly.
This is highly misleading and Konami should fix the listing as soon as possible. Anyways, for now there is no MGS Legacy Collection on PC.
However, PCC users can enjoy the recently released Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The game is available to download Steam and has sold over 3 million copies since release on all major platform. This makes The Phantom Pain the best selling title in the series.
