Riot Games have revealed details on the League of Legends All-Star Event that will end 2015. Coming December 10-13 at the North American LCS Studio in Los Angeles fans will have the opportunity to vote for five players to represent their dream teams.
These teams will be from the NA League Championship Series, EU LCS, LCK, and LMS. To add even more interest winners of the International Wild Cards event will also be added to the mix. These teams will be assigned to either Team Fire or Team Ice based on their regions performance.
The International Wild Cards will be decided on in November in Australia. Once they have been crowned they will be at the All-Star Event to take part in the action. So be sure to also watch that event to see exactly who the victors will be.
Riot announced that global voting will begin in November, with information on this being released closer to the event. With the competitive nature of these events I’m sure that there will be a lot of voting going on to give each region the best chance of winning.
Calling the event a “clash of regions” the event will feature 1v1 matches, fan-voted competition, fun game modes, and the mixed region showdown itself. As this is the coming together of the big stars of the championship series as well as the International Wild Cards, this will obviously be a very popular event. For those who can’t make it, I’m sure the matches will be streamed all around the world.
For those who will be at the event, the ASE are promising that the revamped “theatre-in-the-round” studio layout should accommodate even more fans than previous years.
