Netherrealm is working on new content for Mortal Kombat X. New content include more fighters, skins and environments, that will arrive sometime early 2016.
For the time being, we don’t know if this content will be paid or free for all. Netherrealm also shared a teaser image of 4 characters standing in the shadows, so let the speculations begin.
I don’t know about you, but the second guy from the left looks like Wolverine to me. What do you think? could this be Wolverine?
We’ll know more about them in the coming months.
Mortal Kombat X was released earlier this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The title was also announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, however, developers had to axe the project before it could head out the door.
WB released a statement saying:
After months of development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has come to the regrettable conclusion that we cannot release Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Please know our teams worked diligently to meet the quality standards set by the current-gen versions of the game. We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned.
