Resident Evil Origins Collection Announced, Coming Early 2016

Capcom has announced Resident Evil Origins Collection for consoles and PC. The collection will arrive sometime in early 2016, and a release date will be shared in the coming weeks.

Capcom wrote:

Resident Evil Origins Collection brings together the HD versions of Resident Evil games and Resident Evil 0 and will be available January 22, 2016 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. If you already have Resident Evil HD, it will be possible to obtain Resident Evil 0 scheduled in early 2016 and only for download on Playstation 4 Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

As you can see, the game will be digital only and will release on Steam, PSN and Xbox Live; price it not yet mentioned. You can also see a new trailer for the collection above.

There is also a new trailer for Resident Evil 0, which shows Wesker Mode where players can play as Wesker to fight zombies.

Do you think Capcom should work on Resident Evil 7 rather than offering so many remasters and HD version of previous games? It’s about time we get a new RE, don’t you think?
