With Gamescom 2015 it is fair to say that we missed Sony doing their own press conference and revealing more footage from their games. Worry not though, Sony Japan have confirmed when their press conference at the Tokyo Game Show will take place.
The annual Tokyo conference will take place on September 15. With the month being a busy one in terms of games releases it will be interesting to see what they show. With Microsoft and Nintendo not being at the event, this will also be the time for Sony’s console to shine.
On the Japanese Playstation Blog, it was also announced that the press conference will be streamed online, hopefully we’ll get it in some kind of translated form. If not we’ll just have to watch the new footage that may be shown.
After the Tokyo Game Show, the next event to look out for will be the Paris Games Week, where Sony will also have a press conference too. It will be interesting to see what will be shown at Tokyo, or saved for Paris. This may be based to what games are being released and which need extra promotion.
When thinking about the games that will be there, we may have the chance to see Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and Star Wars Battlefront. We may also see some games that are more oriented to the Japanese audience, which will interest quite a few fans in the west, especially if we see some Final Fantasy footage.
