The Create a Superstar mode for WWE 2K16 is getting quite a bit of attention for the developers. Earlier this week they released a trailer showing the impressive new set of features available in the CAS mode of the game, specifically the materials and wearables.
Today, they’ve released a brief new footage, once again focusing on the CAS mode. This time around however, the emphasis is on the face capture technology.
WWE 2K15 was criticized for inaccurate face capturing and a rather limited set of options of the Create a Superstar mode, which is why developer Yuke’s and Visual Concepts has put a lot of effort in improving the feature in this upcoming iteration.
As you can see in the video, it did a fairly decent job in accurately detecting the facial features of the player. Hopefully the retail version will be just as consistently accurate.
The Create a Superstar mode in WWE 2K16 allows players to create their own wrestler and pit him/her against other famous wrestlers in WWE. The game is set to be released on October 27 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
