Tokaigi Game Show has revealed the Splatoon eSports Tournament in Japan. Additionally, the tournament will be for Puzzle and Dragons.
Tokaigi (the Nico venue) just announced a huge tournament series for Splatoon and Puzzle&Dragons. Over $1 million in prize money,>40 events.

Eight cities in Japan will accomodate 40 events for Splatoon. Cities include:
All the events will come down to the grand finals that’ll be held on January 30 and 31, 2016. Kadokawa and Tokaigi / Nicovideo parent company Dwango is hosting the event, and the action kicks-off in Fukuoka on September 13.

- Kagawa (December 13)
- Tokyo (January 30)
The tournament is exclusive to Japan for the time being, and fans in the west don’t have any Splatoon tournaments to look forward to.
However, there is something special coming up for fans in America. Nintendo and Hasbro are bringing special Transformers themed Splatfest.

Players will be able to choose to play on the team Autobots or Team Decepticons for 24 hours.
