Despite promised visual enhancements and an overall better experience, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is capped at 30 frames per second.
The game’s Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions are also capped at 30 frames per second, but this is not something fans PC enthusiasts expect from a PC port.
This is not all! The PC version of the game lacks resolutions such as 1440 x 900 and only supports 720p and 1080p as of this instant despite the promised ‘visual enhancements’.
It seems like Square Enix has no plans to unlock frames per second on its own, but we can expect modders to come up with a workaround, but whether that will affect the game’s performance or not remains to be seen.
In addition to this, PC users are also reporting no mouse and controller support, frequent crashes, and no 32-bit Windows support. We have compiled a list of most commonly occuring errors with their possible workarounds. You can check out our Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Errors and Crashes Guide for more information.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is now available for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
