Just two months after its June release, the $399.99 1TB Xbox One gets a discount incentive. Today eBay Powerseller “antonline” cut the price to $349.99 – the same price as the 500GB console bundle you’d find in most retail stores. This is part of a limited time sale with a total of 1,000 units available, according to eBay reps.
Bear in mind the $50 price drop isn’t the only discount in town this week for an Xbox One. The Microsoft Store is selling the same 1TB Bundle for $399, and they’re tossing in a free copy of Assassin’s Creed: Unity (appears to be the digital version) along with a 12 Month Xbox LIVE Gold Subscription for a total of about $80 in bonuses.
For those who don’t need the 1TB space and are willing to go for the 500GB console, Walmart is charging the standard $349.99 but also tossing in an extra controller plus a free game of your choice (about $90 in bonuses).
- Xbox One 1TB Console Halo: MCC Bundle — $349.99
- Xbox One 1TB Console Halo: MCC Bundle + AC: Unity + Gold Live 1 Yr — $399
- Xbox One Halo Master Chief 500GB Bundle + Extra Controller + Free 1 Game — $349
These deals are all running only until this weekend. The eBay offer currently sits at about 90 out of 1,000 units sold at time of writing, whereas the Microsoft 1TB bundle promotion is scheduled to run through this Saturday .
For those on the fence, a $50 minimum price drop is probably what you should expect on Black Friday later this year. As a comparison to last year’s holiday season, the Xbox One 500GB Assassin’s Creed: Unity bundle saw an overall drop in price to $250 (and as low as $330 during Black Friday & Cyber Monday).
This year we expect to see this same ~$50 drop on the 1TB console bundle, particularly as inventory of the 500GB begins phasing out of stock and production.
