After releasing Bloodborne earlier this year, From Software revealed Dark Souls 3 at E3. The game looks amazing but at From Software, something else is going on as well.
During a recent interview, Hidetaka Miyazaki spoke about Dark Souls 3, but while doing so, spilled the beans on a new project that is currently in conceptual stage. He further said that From Software will not discuss anything for now, as they are focused to Dark Souls 3.
Miyazaki added that From Software takes a while before finalizing ideas, and can’t share precise details right now. Whatever it is, we can surely expect it to be another masterpiece from this amazing development studio.
We’ll let you know as soon more details are shared regarding this project. They will probably speak about it after Dark Souls 3 comes out.
Moreover, during the same interview, Miyazaki mentioned that Dark Souls 3 will feature a range of different weapons, in order to promote different character builds. Number of weapons is going to be almost the same as Dark Souls 2.
Dark Souls 3 was last shown at Gamescom and is expected to release sometime next year. The title won’t be available for last-gen consoles, and will only see a release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
What do you expect from From Software’s next project? Do you think it’ll feature a futuristic setting?
